On May 5th at 12:58 p.m. local time, Avelo Airlines‘ inaugural flight from New Haven took off to Charleston. The company will have three weekly operations on 149-seat Boeing 737-700s.

Avelo will offer 447 seats per week between New Haven and Charleston and vice versa.

For the first time, both cities will have a non-stop connection.
