SKY Airline has revealed a full redesign of its uniforms for pilots and cabin crew, during an event held at the Airbus Training Center in Chile, located within the Tobalaba Aerodrome. According to information obtained by Aviacionline from SKY personnel, the new uniforms will start being used in early July 2025, both in Chile and Peru.

One of the most visible changes is the color palette: the uniforms shift from the previous gray to a pale black or dark gray tone. For female captains and first officers, ankle boots will now be part of the attire. Meanwhile, cabin crew members will wear sneakers, specially designed by the Brazilian company Olympikus, aiming to prioritize comfort.

The airline explained that the redesign resulted from a co-creation process with its frontline staff. Working groups were formed with representatives from flight crews in both Chile and Peru, allowing their input to directly shape the outcome. The goal was to ensure the uniforms are not only visually appealing but also functional and comfortable for day-to-day operations.

Dougnac added that the flexibility of the materials also improves the ability of crew members to perform their duties more efficiently.

The redesign aims to reflect SKY’s #ActitudSKY—a concept that promotes a service approach based on closeness, responsiveness, and confidence. With this update, SKY becomes the first airline in Chile and Peru to officially integrate sneakers into its cabin crew uniform.
